For those of you without a car, the Old Corner House is 100 yards from the railway station which offers you the opportunity to visit the historic city of Chester or the major cities of Liverpool and Manchester as well as a non-stop train to London.
The ferry port of Holyhead, from which you can take the short sea trip to Ireland, is just an hour away by rail and the scenic rail trip up the Conwy Valley deep into Snowdonia offers one the chance to visit beautiful places such as Betws y coed.
There are also numerous opportunities in the surrounding countryside and coastline for walking and cycling. For those of you with a car there is a at the rear of the property and this is a definite bonus as free parking spaces within the town walls are very hard to find.
