Food prepared by top chefs the Castle Hotel is probably the reason why this is regarded as the town’s premier eating establishment. This four-star residential hotel, which stands on the site of a Cistercian Abbey, offers meals in their formal dining room or bar. Starters and desserts average about £6 and the price of main courses ranges from £11 to £25.
