Access Statement

The Old Corner House is a non smoking , two bedroom, bed and breakfast establishment.
It is located within the medieval walls of Conwy and is 50 metres from the quayside.
 
The following is a summary of our accessibility. However if you have further questions or queries please feel free to contact us.

PARKING AND ARRIVAL

• A residents' private parking area is at the rear of the house.

• Guests can unload at front entrance before parking.

• Guests are assisted with luggage if required.

ENTRANCE and GROUND FLOOR

• The main entrance is at the side of the house. There are three steps (10 inches) down to a small patio
  area which is in front of the conservatory entrance.

• The building is a Victorian terraced house and not wheelchair accessible.

• The conservatory door is always locked and the door bell is accessible. The conservatory, which
  serves as a breakfast room and a place to relax, has a stone tiled floor.

STAIRCASE UP TO FIRST FLOOR and FIRST FLOOR ACCOMMODATION

• There are 13 steps up to the landing where the Conwy and Valley bedrooms and the private
    bathroom are situated.

• There is a handrail on left hand side of staircase as you ascend

• The Conwy Room is a bedroom on the first floor and is a double room

• The Valley Room is an en suite bedroom on the first floor and is a family suite for up to 3
  adults

• There is a private bathroom on the first floor which is for the sole use of the occupants of the
      Conwy Room. It has a large shower cubicle, a separate bath and a WC.
